Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PiXAMP (pixamp.lk) collects when you use our website and calculators, and how that information is used.

Information We Collect

Calculator inputs: when you use our calculators, the values you enter (such as vehicle price, engine capacity, fuel type, manufacture year and loan details) are sent to our server to compute your results. You do not need to give any contact details to use the calculators; we only collect them if you choose to ask for leasing help (see Leasing Enquiries below).

Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and server infrastructure automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the time of each request. This is used to operate, secure and improve the website.

Anonymous statistics: we keep the calculator inputs and results described above, without your IP address or any other detail that identifies you, to produce usage statistics. These anonymous statistics may be kept indefinitely.

Leasing Enquiries

If you ask for leasing help, we collect your name, mobile number and district, the optional answers you choose to give (employment type, monthly income range and when you plan to buy), the details of the calculation you made, the page you came from, and the date of your consent with a coded (hashed) form of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address.

We use these details only to contact you about leasing and, with your consent, to share them with leasing companies so that they can make you an offer. We use secure cloud hosting, security and notification providers to run this service; they do not receive your name or phone number unless needed to provide the service to us.

We keep your enquiry for 12 months after it was last updated and then delete it. You can ask us to delete it earlier by emailing contact@pixamp.lk. When an enquiry is deleted we keep only anonymous statistics (such as district, vehicle type and price range) that cannot identify you.

Advertising and Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this website and/or other websites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings: adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at: www.aboutads.info.

To learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services, see: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may change the ads you see but will not stop the calculators from working.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. We also send it simple events, such as a completed calculation, that include only the calculator type and language. We do not use analytics to identify you personally.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to provide calculator results, operate and secure the website, understand usage so we can improve our tools and content, and display advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Websites

Our website links to other websites, such as our social media pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use reputable cloud infrastructure and encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect information sent to our website. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
